You're the first to bring it up and I don't have an answer for you, so I'll put it to the engineers.
I have noticed a discrepancy in the main balanced output levels of my unit. For ALL inputs there seems to be a 3dB difference between left and right; I could live with it if there was a main balance knob..... Is this a known issue, or is my unit faulty? It caused me a bit of grief last night with my new EV ETX active sound system :-(
Any suggestions? Cheers, Rob

Forgot to mention - there is NO discernable sound quality degradation, just an imbalance. One channel appears to be louder than it should, judging by the dB indicators and menu settings.
The engineers have asked if this issue occurs when playing all types of music sources, such as a file and an external device?

Was this ever solved? I'm having the same issue.
Gonna try with different USB sticks and my laptop via link to see if the problem exists with the input changed, also with an external device.
Can confirm; Problem exists when using USB inputs with multiple USB drives, and an ipad routed into the line/phono inputs.
Can you let me know which firmware version you're using? I'm assuming it's 2.20?
I just tested this out at home, running the RX into a DJM-900NXS2 and recording it - I didn't experience the same difference in balance that you're describing, whether the source was USB1, USB2, or line input - and I tested with the XLR output, master RCA, as well as the booth.
Yeah I'm on 2.20. My issue only happens with the balanced outputs, with any input. The RCA and booth outs are fine.
I'm having the same issue. My left XLR is a few dB softer than the right XLR output. I've exchanged XLR cables and that seems to be the variable. That the left output is just weaker.
