DDJ-Pioneer SB

I am buying a SB controller, am trying to find out if the jogwheel works the same as on CDJ 800s mk2. As in, top scratches / searches through the tune, and the outer rim doesn't skip as fast, but like, finalizes the position of the tune..hope someone can help me :)

Yes, the top part is used for scratching or skipping faster through the track (using the shift button) while the outer rim is to beat match or as you meant it finalizes the position of the tune. Hope it helps.
