I have a DDJ-RX and I was looking at the XDJ-RX but at the time Rekordbox Performance wasn't supported.
Can someone explain how involved HID connection is with an XDJ-RX? How much functionally over Rekordbox Performance do you have with the XDJ-RX i.e. effects, pad effects, beat jump, slicer, etc? Or is it simply to have access to a larger library?

It's not too bad, however it is limited. Pioneer announced
some new firmware, comparability upgrades for February.
If you connect, make sure that you go into XDJRX settings
from the display screen, and set the mixer to midi.
Many of the full functions can be used, but manually from the
software and not on the unit. Give it a go, I'm sure
that you will enjoy it.
Can you please explain how you connected your RX as mine I have tried everything, mixer mode is on Midi, update the driver and the hardware, but every time I please the rotary to connect shows PC mode :( will be very grateful
You need to connect it with usb cable. The rx did not come
with the usb so if you don't have one, you need a usb2
cable. Then you just connect and select midi on the rx, but
make sure that you have the drivers downloaded and installed as well.
The drivers are right under the firmware downloads.

Yes I do, in the video you can see audio - drive- Xdj RX :( I don't know what to do anymore. No one seens to be able to help me. Thank you for your time
Maybe try a different usb 2 cable
maybe the cable is not good
just tried to 3 difference cables, the same outcome it doesn't work! :(
