I have had some issues when using the DJM 900 nexus USB soundcard, I am using Ableton Live 9 (32 bit) and different club mixers (always the 900) and I'm sometimes getting distortion and pops. It has only recently started happening.
These are the details of my mac:
OSX YOSEMITE 10.10.3 (14D136)
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Any help would be great.

@Eli > I recommend you update the firmware on the mixer as the release from February 2014 (v1.310) addressed this very concern:
Fixed an issue where a noise might be heard in the audio input and output from the USB port on some computers.

Heya! So does this mean all club mixers will need to have that firmwire update?
I am playing in various clubs so the mixer is always different.
If it's a computer problem this is always fixable but I'm guessing I need to check in advance that the club mixer is up to date.

If you're playing various locations, there's no harm in you having the latest firmware on your computer and updating their mixer during sound-check if it's not current.
It's certainly not a computer issue.
