DDJ-SB2 Cant connect

just purchased the DDJ-SB2, but my MacBook Air will not see the device attached to the USB port.  Does anyone have a specific way to connect  I have tried everything.  This controller will not work.

@Pulse, I am using 10.11.6 #MAC and facing the same thing: hardware is getting connected, but I can't launch anything from the deck. Any tip?

Thanks, I figured it out, the software was not the right one 

the correct software is "Dj Serato Intro"

its still an issue, i can get it to power on when i plug it in like 5 billion times, now its just not doing it at all

@Tyler > Simply plugging it in and unplugging it won't resolve any issues - could you please provide additional details as to what your specific problem is, what computer and operating system you're using, and which version of software you're using?
