RZ - can't load or play tracks

I just opened the ddj-rz and downloaded the software and driver the other day. My mac (10.9.5) recognizes the RZ as an audio driver, but I can't control anything inside Rekordbox with the controller. I tried uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling the software and the driver, but nothing seems to be working. Please help!

Are you in the performance mode of Rekordbox?

I've got the exact same issue with my DDJ-SZ apart from the mixer working fine with all functions it's just both decks that don't control the the corresponding buttons on the software HELP!!!!!

@Mark & @Richie > If you open Preferences > Audio within rekordbox, does the DDJ-RZ/SZ show up under Control Device Information ?

No, the DDJ-RZ doesn't show up. That section is blank for me right now

@Mark > I would try disconnecting the controller, then open the Applications > rekordbox > Drivers folder and open the DDJ-RZ driver zip. Within that zip file, you'll find an uninstaller - run that, then reboot your computer. After it starts back up, run the driver installation again. Connect your RZ and then go to the Applications > Utilities folder and launch Audio MIDI Setup and see if the RZ is detected there as a MIDI device. If so, launch rekordbox and see if it is detected there as well (in Performance mode).

Guys I redownloaded the newest driver for my SZ then connect the SZ to my laptop through the USB and held the shift and sync button down as I turned the SZ on from the back. It then flashes and the top red LED on the right master level display flashes red repeatedly. I left the unit for a few minutes then turned it off and back on again and everything is now working perfectly without changing any settings. Hope this helps ;)

I completed the process listed above, and the DDJ-RZ is detected in the Audio MIDI Setup of my mac. But, in performance mode of rekordbox, the DDJ-RZ is not listed under control device information.

Had same problem, uninstall driver for RZ. Update firmware again first, then redownload driver again. 1.0 for Yosimite and 1.1.0 for El Capitan.

unfortunately that didn't work for me. the RZ still isn't showing up in control device information in rekordbox

i am literally having the same problem tonight, downloaded rekordbox on my mac and the newest driver and it won't allow me to use the controller to control and load tracks. my ddj-rb isn't having any of it
