Preparing for Rekorbox's first gig

I currently have a Macbook pro 13 with 8 Gb of ram and a 1Tb Hybrid SSD/HDD

Everything has been cool at home no glitches or sound dropouts (except for when Rekordbox was analysing some tracks and i didn't notice)

What can i do to make sure the CPU usage stays low and Rekordbox behaves itself?

I will be doing a fresh boot and shutting down any applications that don't need to be open, WiFi will also be switched off.

So last night i did the gig, from what i can tell everything went smooth apart from mid evening i had a stutter whilst cueing up a track. The processor bar was at about 75% when the stutter was happening. As i said i fresh booted and shut down everything except RB and had wifi and bluetooth turned off. Any other reason this might of happened?

Might have to migrate to a full SSD instead of the hybrid
