Error opening Pioneer XDJ-RX ASIO - tried everything

I red the former post about this same problem and tried all the things said there. Uninstalled drivers, reninstalled rebooted. Uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed and rebooted. Even re-installed whole Win 10 and Rekorbox! Checked all to be correct in device manager.. Nothing makes this work.
For some reason, on Friday this was working just fine, and on Saturday it didn't. I am able to play gig barely with just usin Pioneer XDJ-RX line option but then cant use headphones etc. since ASIO isn't working.
I'm out of options here. HELP!?

Did you have the XDJ-RX connected when that appeared? If I switch my audio input after rekordbox is open and I don't have the RX connected to the computer, I get that message, but then connecting it shows the device configured for outputs.

Tested with Windows 10 (64bit) and rekordbox 4.1.1, XDJ-RX driver v1.0

Can you scroll to the bottom of that Audio page and tell me if the RX shows up in the Control Device Information section?

I've tried to change Audio section without RX connected and with RX connected. Yet always ending with the same result.
Here is the Control Device Information section shown. It is seen there.
Like I said, really frustrating and weird problem.

I am having the same problem.  I have installed and reinstalled the drivers.  Ensured my firmware is up to date and I have the latest version of Rekordbox.  I have followed every suggestion on all of the threads relating to this issue and the problem remains.  I still haven't seen a definitive solution.  Has your issue been resolved yet?

No, not yet. I'm wondering if this problem is related somehow to Windows 10.

I don't have that issue with my Win10/64 install, so it's not widespread, but our engineers are investigating.

I am pleased to say that after several weeks I have finally resolved the issue.  I found a thread on another website not related to the XDJ-RX, but related to an issue with windows 10/64 and ASIO drivers.  The thread directed me to the ASIO website and advised that the ASIO4ALL driver be installed.  I did as suggested, rebooted the laptop and Rekordbox and hey presto, when I selected the pioneer xdj-rx asio driver in the Rekordbox preferences, it came up.  I'm not computer savvy, so I don't know why this is now working, I'm sure pulse has a good idea. I hope this helps.

@Natasha > You shouldn't need to use ASIO4ALL unless you're trying to aggregate two audio interfaces for some reason.

I had the issue today with my RZ on Windows 10, and my solution was to unplug the RZ, close rekordbox, install the drivers, reboot, and it worked properly again. This was the first time I'd connected the RZ since updating to 4.1.2, so there may be an issue there, but again, our engineers are looking into it.

Okay... Johnny! Were you able to resolve it by reinstalling the drivers? I have another possible fix if that doesn't work for you.

No, the reinstalling of drivers didn't solve the problem. But the trick Natasha told with ASIO4ALL made the Pioneer XDJ-RX ASIO working again. But surely we'd love to know your trick.

@Johnny > They recommend locating the following file (with rekordbox closed):

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox\rekordbox3.settings

And rename it to rekordbox3.settings.old, then re-launch rekordbox and the settings will be reset, but it may also resolve the issue of the drivers.

The engineers would also like to know the following:

Did you install the driver for the first time after installing rekordbox 4.1.2? Or, did you update the previously installed rekordbox to 4.1.2? If so, which version did you use before updating to 4.1.2?
