It shouldn't matter; which version are you running? You only told us which one he's using.

DJM-S9 DJ change over
Do both dj's need to be running the same software & OS X software?
We tried to use it yesterday but when we swapped over it would not work for me as normal. I had to turn it on then off to get it to work again. It just froze serato. Which has never happened before. I restarted serato but it just did the same thing.
My friend was using the older version of OSX and I am using 10.11.2
With all the latest software, Drivers & firmware.
Please help
