Since the update everytime I turn on and start a mix the Master track playing keeps stuttering, having sound drops whilst cuein/hot cueing using performance pads on the RZ almost like someone touching the platter in vinyl mode,
making it impossible to mix, I have had power off/on, open and close RB to be able to use properly.
Nothing has changed on my laptop, I'm at 448 samples which was fine in 4.0.6, all updates done before opeing, wifi always off when using RB...

@Alan > This is not technically a stability issue as the program is not crashing on you. Be sure you are using the latest firmware and that you have the latest correct drivers installed. You can find them here. Also, try adjusting your buffer size higher to see if that solves the issue. Let us know how that goes.
Also ensure your computer has all of the available updates and patches applied, and is running the latest graphics driver from the chipset manufacturer.
Alternatively, you could try lowering the drawing rate to see if that affects the performance.
+1 I've had that behavior before. Happens every few weeks.
Pulse my laptop is bang upto date with everything. Once again...NOTHING I REPEAT NOTHING has changed since 4.0.6 which ran fine without this issue.
If having to lower the drawing rate solves it then doesn't that say to you'very problem in the sense that I have to dumb down the program to run smoothly.
And now it's not just me with this issue.
@Alan > While you say "nothing has changed" that doesn't equate to "everything is up to date." Me asking questions and directing you to possible solutions is just one step in the troubleshooting process. If you're not willing to assist us by trying these solutions, I can't very well assist you further.
You also haven't provided any information in terms of the specs of your computer, so I don't know if you're running a 10 year old PC meeting the minimum hardware requirements, or a brand new MacBook Pro.
