Good morning, i have many problems with my xdj-r1 (buy at may 2014)
after i update my ipad mini retiva with ios 8, and update remotebox at the last versiona, my R1 have the right deck blocked in the middle of the event.
after that, i put 1.12 firmware in the R1, then in the other 3 event, i alwais have it blocked. the last, this saturday night, first, my r1 after two hour of work, is blocked, then i have reset it, then, after other one hour it make a metal whistle, and is totally blocked. Please help me. (i use an ssd drive in the usb) and use only the USB mode. non midi, not cd.

@Emanuele > The problem is more likely related to your tracks. What kind of audio files are you using and have you checked them for errors? Which version of rekordbox did you use to prepare them and export to the USB drive?
Hi, i play only mp3 files. now i use rekordbox 3.3.0, but the song i've played are not new, and i prepare it whith rekordbox (i don't remember the previous version, i think i install it about 8 month ago. The block come after 2-3 hours of play.

Now i have one more problem, i update my iPad to iOS 9. And remotebox don't work. Can i have help? when Pioneer release new version of remotebox fora work with iOS 9?
Try removing and reinstalling remotebox. I have it running on iOS 9.0.2 here with no issues.
As for your freezing, it's likely due to a poorly encoded MP3. Have you scanned them for errors?
I never scanned my mp3 file yet. what kind of program I should use?

If you're on Windows, try MP3val - it's free.
You can also run MP3val for Mac, but it doesn't have a user interface.
Or try MP3 Scan+Repair (for Mac).
I confirm that remotebox works with iOS 9.0.2
For freeze error, i don't know yet. i've scanned all my mp3 file and i found many errors (but many of this mp3 was very old, someone have 6 years, and in the past they work correctly on pc and on DJ stand-alone controller of other company) Now i'm treating mp3 file with rekordbox 3.3.0, then when i complete this task, i go to try the consolle
Last night I ran the tests on the console to my house. I used it for about two hours and did not give me problems. I hope not to have any more problems. After the next event will let you know if everything worked properly.
I have one last question, if the pioneer consolle need to work with correct and fixed mp3 files, why rekordbox when analyze the song does not report and corrects these errors?
The mp3 files with errors, all things considered, they work fine with any other device (computers, radios, readers, and consolles from other manufacturers) only with pioneer products this is a serious problem.
I believe that every user expects that a program who analysis and preparing file, do whatever it takes to work properly with the pioneer products.
I hope you will consider the possibility to implement this kind of control in the next release of rekordbox
