HDJ 2000 Mk2 peeling

hello my Headphones are less than a year old and the rubber is peeling. will Pioneer replace these under manufacturer warranty?

What's peeling?

In between the outside and inside of the headphone their is some sort of rubber coating. That's starting to peel.
