hello Creal,
The only way currently is to go back to the home screen.
Thank you for your suggestion. I will forward this to the pioneer dj production team.
Hey everyone, a couple things:
Question- after loading a sample onto a pad from the browse page, is there a way to move to another pad and load another sample, without returning to the home screen? In order to move to another pad.
Suggestion: It would be really helpful to get visual feedback from the touch screen when:
1) when you hit a pad, the pad lights up on the touch screen as well.
2) when you play your track back, and the pads show when they're being triggered.

Ok thanks, much appreciated.
I've done this by just hitting the next pad you want the sample in then choose the sample with the encoder and it's on that pad... hit the next pad and so on... works perfectly? I never have to back to the home screen... unless I'm misunderstanding your question...
Hmmm I'll double back and check, I hit the next pad but the icon in the right corner still referenced the first pad, maybe it just doesn't give you feedback that you've moved on to the next pad....
I'll double check as well in the studio today and get back to you... just want to make sure I'm not talking out of my ass...
FYI: no you have to return to the home screen....hope to see this updated.
Ok so I watched a video on YouTube by Kraft music I think, and they were definitely able to load samples to multiple pads from the browse page, just by pressing a different pad.
l cannot do this, so is this an issue with my unit, or some kind of software setting?
@Creal:
Please note, to make this work, you have to select the "Track" Button first (it must be highlighted).
Then in the browse sample menue, you should be able to select another pad and load a sample without returning to the home screen.
This also works e.g. on the effect page.
If the Track button is not highlighted, it does not work.
@Pioneer:
However, Pioneer should make it work without having selected the Track button, because when you select a Pad and a Sample is already loaded to that pad, the sample is played back (not good in live situations). This refers also to other pages where you switch to another track via pads (e.g. the effect page).
Great thanks Cie! Much appreciated!!
