Toraiz sp16 4bar limitation
Hello, I own sp16 1 year now and it's fantastic piece of gear, that I'll never let go, sound and features are superb.
The only thing that bothers me is 4 bar limitation. Just a quick question - is there a chance that in coming update you will be able to extend bar limit up to 8 or best 16? Here on this forum one user has given a great idea regarding this - shift+bar selector would change pattern bar lenght - accordingly 4,8,12,16. Great idea, isn't it? What do you think?
My question applies also to DJS1000, that I don't buy for now because it also has this bar limitation. I've bought MPC Live that has no bar limit for a little more complex drum loops 8-16 bars, but I would prefer DJS1000 instead of akai.

That is the biggest limitation of SP-16 for me now. Shift + bar to have 4, 8, 12, 16 and then shift + any bar to light up bars on steps buttons to be able to move among bars. Or at least pattern chain where you could link X patterns together so SP-16 would treat them as 1 pattern and so kept looping them.

It would be very cool to be able to set longer patterns or to be able to chain the patterns and loop them as noted above.

+1 on the shift+bar selection suggestion. Just chiming in for Pioneer to see. The bars could glow a different color than blue when in shift mode to indicate.

I'm sure that without this limatation that many users (like me) will be interesseted by the toraiz. Please pioneer : work on it ! it's a long time request: their is a lot of topics in the web about it..
