They have defiantly lost my sales after the Toraiz fiasco which still continues. The last bad move was the latest update for the Djs1000 and delaying the sp16 update to June. They just don't care this was my first and last product by this so called company. Their is always a bad apple in the bunch and Pioneer wins this award.

I posted a problem i am having with the DJS-1000 supposed new feature "File Sharing" i did everything on the book to try to get this thing to work and it simply does NOT work, why the heck after all the problems and complaints with the Toraiz would Pioneer put out an update and say it has file sharing capabilities if it does NOT,more lies,more fakes to attract buyers? this is why they are loosing sales,and on top of that we post are issues and no one has answers to say the least.COME ON PIONEER,PLEASE DON'T DO THE SAME BS AGAIN.and please post something on the website that says it don't work just yet or if it will ever work,and please post instructions to all updates that way users can understand what the features do if anything.

@Pulse,I'm sure you would appreciate less negative approaches, but how we gonna be positive about all the headaches we getting off these units and i'm 101% sure i am not the only one that feels this way,i had posted the issue earlier and had no response,and i've had a couple bugs as well and let it slide because it ain't something that happens everyday.You should let them know this hurts the sales as well and i think they should know this by now but it's good to remind them,thanks anyway for the reply hope they can fix it soon.

I understand you're upset, but I have to ask if you've followed the instructions and done everything you're supposed to do -- or is this truly a problem I need to raise with the product teams? Post with a positive attitude like "Hey, I have a problem, is this working as it should? Can you help?" and yeah, I'm happy to do so! But let's not start with an accusatory sentiment. So... that said, here's what I've learned...
The USB Link (File Sharing) driver is required. Did you install that?
Additional instructions are available on pages 4-5 of the manual addendum. Have you read them?
Here we go again with poor customer service I think you need to take a lesson from Elektron what a great company they treat their customers with respect and listen to suggestions, bug complaints, etc... People buy there products and enjoy having conversations on there forum. If I new what I have learned and seen with Pioneer I would have completely avoided this company. Good bye!!!!!!
@Pulse,I guess you missed the part where i was less negative on the first post where i had asked "any ideas?" But like i said i got no response so now i post a negative comment that btw is true and all of a sudden i get some replies,the problem is the reply wasn't to try to help it was mainly so i won't be negative on my post,and yes i read downloaded and did everything it said to & it just says unavailble .
@Morris,I actually considered elektron but i see the videos and find those units to be a little complicated for me,but i see they have good features tho,i'm kinda in to deep now on this pioneer gear have too many units and to switch to elektron would mean i'd have to sell my gear which would also mean huge losses because people are not trying to buy pioneer unless it's dirt cheap because of all that has been going on lately with Toraiz & DJS but if i find buyers that are interested on my units and see i dont loose too much$$ i would sell and get elektron products and see what they have to offer,i know on ebay people are selling their djs 1000 already,I can say the mpc live has been updating constantly and they have been doing a pretty good job i can't complain so far.

Did you check that your network and firewall are configured properly? That's typically the problem with network linking.

@ Pulse,the topic was DJS-1000 File Sharing and was a clear topic to what is going on with ZERO negativity but since nobody said anything i posted this one which had a decent outcome as far as replies,but yes i mentioned i did everything,and yes dowloaded installed tried it on both my laptop and desktop spent hours troubleshooting disabled firewalls connected usb because it says only availible via usb i'm guessing not lan alone and it just does not work

The connection from the computer to DJS is via USB, but the driver creates a USB > Ethernet bridge; the network cable is still to connect to CDJs / DJMs. If you've got the network "device" showing up and the firewall is disabled, you may also want to ensure any other networking (eg WiFi) or file sharing services / servers / applications are disabled as well. Also check other 3rd party security software such as anti-malware or antivirus software.
And yes i had already visited those pages you linked,and i don't know why you should feel bad about the comments of any user unless its directly towards you,i told you before in the past i know it aint your fault you didnt make the units but when you start defending a bad unit then people may have a different approach towards you not the company who made the units.i have nothing against you but we should be able to expess our feels about the units we pay premium price for.

And I know it's not personal, but this is where I spend several hours of my day, and if people come in with a positive attitude, it makes my day a bit better. You certainly have a right to express your opinion, but I'd suggest doing so constructively, in a place where it will have a better impact.
Pc,windows 10 laptop and windows 7 desktop and i dowloaded both drivers for each,where would be a place better impact ? Im not trying to bash im trying to get positive working results and this is the only place to post to pioneer that i know of.I paid a lot for these units and would want them to work flawless not slam on the units so that people will avoid them and i be stuck with a unit no one wants cause i do upgrades every few years like with the cdjs and djms so if i were going to upgrade i have to sell my old units first then buy,so bash wont help me,i want results.
And did you check that your network type is set to a home/work/private type rather than a public or unknown type?

@Pulse You are in the unfortunate position of being the customer front end on these forums. You have had to be the messenger when Pioneer left the SP-16 undeveloped and instead released and maintains the DJS-1000. Customers justifiably are very disappointed or angry.
It would help if you let the angry posts go without telling us how unfair it all is for you. People have nowhere else to tell Pioneer.

Ok,i pretty much gave up trying to get it to work anyway,,unplugging and plugging,rebooting powering on and off ,connecting disconnecting, disabling enabling, installing unistalling, launching and closing restarting,things driving me crazy i give up i will try it again when i get more info from you or whoever can help me out,thanks tho.
