XDJ-RX2 New Firmware (1.30) problem

The new firmware (1.30) has completely slowed down the XDJ-RX2. Back to the library, it was 5 seconds
to wait. what he did for something. There was no problem with 1.23.
Something should do this, because it is so useless.

Sorry, can you give me a bit more information about what you mean by "back to the library it was 5 seconds to wait" ?

With the new upgrade 1.30 mine is delayed in the research of tracks and in the back of the playlist. Approximately 3 to 5 seconds. You have to solve the problem because the control is useless

Hi,

Well very bad to heard so much problem after firmware 1.23 and 1.30...

I'm still on V 1.2 when i bought it on 27 December 2017.

As one asked on a closed subject is it possible to downgrade till the TK engineer  solve the problem?

It seems that V 1.2  make less problem or not than V1.23 and 1.3.

I'm currently use my RX2 on stand alone, not connected to a laptop.

I didn't noticed anything that a bug for me, a chance or reality???

I am also experiencing search issues and also when opening playlists it says to 'Wait'. There are also issues after the playlist loads. The screen locks up for a few seconds and just displays the track title. Then after a few seconds it will refresh and show the BPM, key, etc.

Is there anyway to downgrade the player to 1.2? The search issues on that firmware were far less frustrating than what I'm experiencing with 1.3.

Could you please zip and upload a copy of the PIONEER folder from your USB drive to a file-sharing service and link it here for me? Our engineers would like to investigate the cause of these slow-downs.

I need this to be resolved ASAP. 

The club that I was playing in last night had to shut early because of this firmware upgrade. 

Can anyone send me the 1.23 firmware file of any info on how to do a hard reset of the system?

We'd like to inform you that we have an issue with firmware 1.30. As a result we are losing money and stores are shutting down. Your next day official reply was just "be patient". Losing money cannot be patient. This is so sad.

hi !

my xdj-rx2 is very very slow since fw 1.3 too!

after playing for two hours the database from my usb sticks reacted very slow, search function did freeze for 10 seconds ore more.... is was very boaring
tried to use different sticks but it seemed to be a problem of der rx2!
selecting a track always displayed "wait"...

is it possible to downgrade to an earlier version?

Does the "slowness" occur immediately or after some time? I've been testing and trying to benchmark things but right out of the gate I'm not experiencing any change in performance between 1.23 and 1.30 regardless of the size of drive I'm using.

startet after playing for some hours.(3 or more) .. scrolling in the playlists becam slower, search function was very slow... for typing in 3 letters or more it took about half a minute...
and always a circle symbol with "wai" written was displayed.
after a reboot of the whole system  it did work noprmal again..but i did not hav time to test it again for some hours

this is very disturbing playing a set for some hours at a gig...
with fw 1.23 i´ve played sets for 5-6 hours or more an there was nothing strange behavour like that...

I absolutely agree with Hi F.

The delay begins after the machine has been operated for a period of 30 minutes,after that there is a delay in search, in back and exploring envelopes 

its very bad to inform us that there were such problems after the update 1,23
we cant work and we lose our money because you dont give us an accurate response

well hopefully its going to be a quick one , the last update was a few months between , this cant be as i and many others will be returning the machine as it is not able to do what its supposed to !

With Firmware 1.31, RX2 works well again. Thank you Pioneer for solving the problem.
