Did you also press the master cue button so it was illuminated?
I have played on my xdjrx2 for a while but i cant get any sound in my headphones when ritning the knob to ”master” cue is no problem. The main master out is set to a ok level. I use rca cable out. Is that a setting or a problem with my player? I play from usb.
Did you also press the master cue button so it was illuminated?

Now I have thanks for quick answers. You solved my problem. One more obvious question. Is there any more function with the less turning on the jogwheels when playing a song then the info that I’m playing that channel?
Awesome!
Sorry, I'm not sure if I fully understand that second question, can you rephrase it?
I’m new to pioneer and the question is pretty simple. When a song is live the jogwheels leds is turning round and round. If I stop the led light is still. Are there any more funktions for this than the obvious information that this player is live (and would be stopped)? Can I see that it beat match with player one or anything like this?
Ah, I get it - you mean the jog illumination. The functions of the jog display are outlined in the owner's manual on page 22; they are to show the play speed / direction, as well as jog-touch (the blue ring). They do not show beat-match status, that's done by watching the grid markers in the display, or you can press the SYNC button and it's matched for you.
Why can't i get sound to my earphones when i cue chanel 1&2, i get sound from master cue (xdj rx2)
@Mark > What is the audio device / output configuration in the audio preferences of the software?
I am having the exact same issue as Mark. Output in preferences in Software is only allowing 1 option. "Line (PIONEER DJ XDJ-RX2 1/2" for each channel. I have it selected for Master however, Headphones and Booth output I have left empty. The only selection option any channel offers me is like I said, "Line (PIONEER DJ XDJ-RX2 1/2". Further to that I had to SKIP the new Driver exe.1020 update caused audio to be lost out of RCA out. I skipped the update for the 1020.exe driver and now I have my audio back but no cue in channel 1 or 2 in headphones. It functions fine when I use it in USB mode but through the software the sound in channel 1 and 2 is lost. It is only available throuh Master cue. I am using PC PLEASE assist
Furthermore, I attempted to install DRIVER EXE.1020 as prompted and installation failed every time. I even tried installing it on a Windows 7 and a Windows 10 platform. Installation error 008 and 004.I am "assuming" this is what is causing the output error in my headphone cue channel 1 and 2? Please assist
@MRSL > Please ensure your Windows installation is fully up-to-date with all the latest service packs (either Windows 7 or Windows 10) and that you are running the driver installation under an administrative account with any security software disabled.
