[DDJ-1000] Odd audio channel behaviour

I had an auto mix on and turn it off and on. 

After it stopped playing the second song there was no audio coming out of channel 2. I stopped and pressed play from Rekordbox but no response. It wasn't till I moved the crossfader that sound came through the channel. 

Unclear what caused this I've been unable to reproduce it for now.
