Ddj sb3 no asio

Hi guys just received the sb3 after upgrading from the old sb, I've plugged in the unit, installed the drivers and updated the firmware. I'm running win 7 64bit sp1 and everything is up to date. When I try to use the controller in other programs like traktor or my daw etc, the asio driver option does not show, the only option I have is sb3 line. So, I hooked it up to my gf laptop running win 10, its up to date and again does not show the asio driver at all. There are no error symbols next to the device in device manager. Funnily, if I go into the serato driver folder, there isn't a driver present for the sb3. Everything is working but I just can't use asio. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, otherwise its getting sent back and swapped.
