I think, just to protect against damage, it is optimal that the setting is not to be found by Quick Link, but in the settings is present, for me at least a little more security.
if you are not even in the square or computer and an unauthorized playing around with your software etc
So each time you want to edit you have to call preferences?
sorry, but when i edit i am at home and there i don't need protection.
the protection i only need when i am at my gigs, not at home
or a you edit your playlist when you are on work in a club ? :-)
I love this option ESPECIALLY in Performance mode. You might want to consider adding an option for Performance mode only. That way it will be on in Performance mode but off in Export mode.
My 2 cents.
When I'm at home, sometimes I need to edit songs while practising. Why NOT a Quick link? Also, you could accidentale modify Tag details while creating playlists. Just a Little Button somewere... ;-)
i agree, great feature but needs a shortcut in export and performance modes. even if its just a right click/edit track option.
