Right, I can see this been a fun evening, platter has failed outside of manufacturer warranty. Who is going to be out of pocket on a replacement motor for the deck, more than likely myself. The deck has only been purchased for personal use as I only listen to vinyls of artist I enjoy and dj on cdjs all the time in work. I would ask for advice but I can already see the answer is buy a new deck. Shame to say it but it's put me off pioneer gear. The only down side is it's the "club standard" so guess I'll still have to use it for work.
