XDJ-RX2 Left Jog Wheel Lag/Unresponsive

When I try 2 scratch, the left jog only responds about 50 percent of the time I touch it. Is this a hardware problem or is it possible that it could be a software issue solvable via a hard reset or soft/firmware update? I actually have the most recent firmware so it would be an update to come if the latter is the case... Please respond ASAP as this is really doing my head in.

Sorry, that video framerate was so low that it was hard to tell what was happening / when.

Please try disconnecting everything except the power, and ensure the power is connected directly to the wall outlet (no power strip or extension cord), and see if this continues.

Dude, it is clear as hell what is happening without any video. It has been happening for ages too. I've also explained it perfectly in the OP. I will however try having it plugged in to an independent slot and see if that helps (but I didn't think that'd make a diff as in clubss etc... need I continue?) I will try though and check back in for tomoz. Thanks for getting back to me.

I have also noticed that it is harder to reproduce the problem when nothing is playing on the other deck and wondered if the unit was trying to process more than it could handle. If that is a possibility then what can I do to fix that?

PS Soz for all the replies. It's just coming into my head and I thought it relevant...

"Dude" ... your post was fine, the video should have helped me to further identify the issue, but it was next to useless to illustrate the issue.

Answering my questions above would be more useful, so I look forward to your response.

https://youtu.be/SUVaN-pgFTs I thought it had fixed it when I tried using an independent power source. Had a good little scratch for 2 mins and then it happened again. Better frame rate here and you can see what is happening. I'll look forward to your reply,.

Okay, but again, your video shows that you have other equipment connected; does the same thing happen when the ONLY thing connected to the XDJ-RX2 is the power cable?

Ok. I tried it with nothing plugged in (apart from a usb as need that to actually test) and I can't seem to reproduce the problem. But it is obviously a sorry state of affairs if you can't plug pioneer speakers and headphones into a pioneer console. 2x s-dj50x plus hdj-x10 is what I am using. So, I've answered your questions... Is there anything you can suggest? Thanks in advance.

Not at all, that's why we call this troubleshooting!

Connect the speakers ONLY and then see if the problem returns.

Connect the headphones ONLY and see if the problem returns.

Connect BOTH and see if the problem returns.

Notice a pattern? Trying to isolate which items in combination are causing the problem, because you've just shown that the RX2 itself is not the problem.
