Correct, it should be working like that. Are you sure you toggled it to MIC and not LINE?

DDJ SX2 CHANNEL 3 MIC 1 NOT WORKING
I have a wireless AKG SR40 MIC and have my settings on the fader to go THRU and set to MIC. All I have on the screen for channel 3 in serato is THRU with a dot above it. How do I connect my wireless mic? I have done it before and it worked fine.
