Also check that you haven't accidentally added a MIDI mapping by opening the Serato DJ preferences, look under the device list to ensure the "Allow hardware remapping" is unchecked.

DDJ SX platter freezes and PLAYS in reverse
After scratching on the left platter, it freezes and starts to load songs into 4 channels and PLAYS songs in reverse, everything becomes non responsive while playing live? Slip button lights up, sensor light flashes,
Any ideas what might be the problem here?

Have you updated the firmware, also try a different USB cable. But no haven't seen this, may have to send it in for repair, sorry.
