DDJ 1000 SRT Features not working?

Can someone confirm the following features are working on your units. They are not on mine.

1) In the user manual page 26, part # 4 of the jog wheel is supposed to indicate which deck is selected by the background color. This is triggered by the cross fader and\/or the channel faders. I had a DDJ 1000 before the SRT and this feature was working. In my unit, no matter which which deck is selected by the faders, the background remains bright white (when channel 1 and 2 is selected) and bright blue when channel 3 and 4 is selected.

2) When I use the SAMPLER CUE button, no sampler sound goes to my headphones unless I have the SAMPLER VOL up. When I have it up, I do hear the sound but it also goes to the master speakers defeating the purpose of CUEing.

While these two features are not a deal breaker, I would like to know whether I have a defective unit or I got some settings wrong,

With the firmware version 1.05 there is a notice:

After updating the DDJ-1000SRT firmware to ver.1.05, Sampler Master Volume level of Serato DJ Pro does not sync with the SAMPLER VOL knob on the DDJ-1000SRT. If you find that the DDJ-1000SRT Sampler volume level is not appropriate, even when turning the SAMPLER VOL knob, please adjust the Sampler Master Volume level in Serato DJ Pro on your PC/Mac. For details, click here.

Unfortunately this is a change that we cannot control as it has to do with the software output.

Make sure your sampler output is selected for the appropriate destination within Serato and it should work when adjusting the levels in software.

Same issue on the deck change. I thought 3/4 was supposed to be blue. Seems like this slipped through the cracks, can anybody from Pioneer help with this?

Running the latest firmware on the unit and current version of Serato DJ Pro?

Hi yes running latest versions of both serato and most current firmware update done today. Today is my first day using the controller.

Everything else works fine, but the sampler cue button does not send audio to my headphones.

Oh and actually one more thing... there is clipping noise coming from speaker, and headphones. All the levels are set to medium/low and the lights never travel above the orange.

Appreciate any help.

Anyone get anywhere with this??? I have no audio coming out of my headphones when engaging the Cue button.....and the volume control does sweet nothing to the sound level of the sample.....luckily I got charged extra just so I could use Serato with this bit of Pioneer kit!
