DJM 450 or DJM 750 MK2?

Hi,

I am in the market for a new mixer and I play hybrid sets between real vinyl and DVS. I like both the 450 and 750 mk2 and I'm looking for a mixer which will deliver the best sound possible as it will sometimes be used as the house mixer.

My question is, aside from the extra 2 channels, what are the compelling reasons to plump down the extra $ for the 750 Mk2? Also is the *any* difference in the sound quality coming out if the master?

Any input would be much appreciated.

main difference is the lack of a booth out, also no digital out available.

Is that really the only consideration?

Looking at the specs the D/A converter seems to be 32bit on the 750, vs 24 bit on the 450. Also the noise floor seems a little higher on the 750. And I'm curious if the phono pre-amps are identical on both.

I have no issue paying the extra for a 750 if the sound is better, but if the booth and digital out are the only 'upgrades' aside from the additional 2 channels, I don't see a compelling reason.

of Course the d/a a/d stages are better. and you have 2 channels more. if you're interested in technical Details i'd suggest take a look at the Service Manuals and compare the ad/da stages.
