XDJ-XZ Audio and other problem

If you set UTILITY MIXER MIDI MESSAGE to ON, you can make MIDI settings.
However, since XDJ-XZ is an external mixer, the XDJ-XZ's EFFECT will also work.

Unfortunately it is not good. On: UTILITY MIXER MIDI MESSAGE to ON. I can set more buttons, but the effect button does not work and the CFX buttons do not respond to the record box dj part. I made a video. Interestingly, there are 2 Xz in the 5.8.0 folder. Xz (1) and Xz (2).

When connected to MIDI, it does not wake up, it should be selected as XZ MIDI. In this case, the XDJ-RX I use is perfect there. Today I tried it on another laptop, with 5.8.0 and USB cable, it doesn't work the effect part or the CFX.

For example, I canceled the Tempo reset button in the Midi setup and could assign it to switch FX 1 on. The effect does not allow button. The mixer part will not allow anything. It does not respond in the record box program if I manually change the effect select button. Does not switch the screen. It didn't switch me either to set where the effect goes, channel 1 or 2, master ..... This is controlled by em.

XDJ-XZ (1) is for MIDI operated by DECK.

what i don't understand is that the xdj-rx has a setting that i have assigned to the 4 PERFOMANCE button. So, there is HOT CUE, there is AUTO BEAT LOOP and I replaced the last one with LOOP SLICE, replaced by PAD FX. The XDJ-RX works perfectly with it. Interestingly, when I paired the new XDJ-XZ, the PAD FX comes up instead of the SLIP LOOP by default. Same as XDJ-RX setting. However, nothing is selected for MIDI. That is, by default, it does not configure itself to be XDJ-Xz. This is set by default in the XDJ RX. Could this not be related to my problem? I do not want to completely mess up the XDJ RX setup as I am making music with the XDJ XZ yet. I really should, but I can't use it that way.

Hello, I made 2 new videos showing what my problem is. One video is the XDJ RX, which shows everything perfect. I plugged in the XDJ-XZ and it doesn't work well. If I connect with the USB cable then only the XDJ XZ (2) will be visible in the midi section, if I start the link connection, 1-2 decks, then the midi section will not automatically bring up the XDJ XZ. I think that XDJ-XZ cannot control the effect of rekordboxdj because it is a real mixer like DJM-900NXS2.

To use it, you have to set it yourself.

Hello, the new Rekordbox 5.8.1 has come out. I tried it, unfortunately everything remains the same. The sound is as bad as I change the size of the Buffer. (Sound is good in Export mode). Unfortunately, even when the CFX buttons are pressed, cfx does not appear on the record box screen. And even when you turn the effect selector knob, it does not show on the monitor what the effect is.

It's so bad that you can't use your expensive mixer. And it bothers me to wait helplessly, not getting information. Yesterday I saw a friend of mine on a Mac and the same thing shows up there.

Norbert, please understand that some of these functions won't work as you're expecting because the mixer section of the XZ is an actual MIXER like a DJM-900NXS2, not a control surface like the DDJ-RX. Some of the buttons / knobs you're asking about don't send MIDI control, and others would be prioritizing the hardware function first (because it's passing audio).

Cant find a way to start a new thread so I'll go here. I've had my xz about 3 months and tonight I've found its ot working correct. The fx section has all gone wrong. The fx are only happening in the headphones and the fx selector switch is doing all sorts of weird. When I move it its turning booth off etc etc
