Eddie,
Sorry - laser fixtures are not currently supported within rekordbox. We hope to include additional lighting types in future updates but don't have a timeline. Thank you for your patience.
Please fix this fixture. See this post...it was added but not correctly. https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360048262911-Sumger-DM-RGB400-Professional-DMX512-LED-Stage-Light-RGB-Laser-Scanner?input_string=Sumger%20DM-RGB400%20Professional%20DMX512%20LED%20Stage%20Light%20RGB%20Laser%20Scanner

Heres what i tried to post in that thread but couldn't:
I have this same laser and it doesnt work for me either. Is the software setting the correct ch1 mode? (I confirmed that DMX is actually getting to the unit by putting a similar laser fixture into its slot and it activates the laser but the mapping is all off). Is there information on editing the database? I have SQLite and can see and edit parameters, just need to know which ones do what?
FYI theres another fixture listed for this too DM-RGB400 Alien
If lasers are not supported then why can you select Laser as a type ? Why are there 100's of lasers listed in your fixture list?
So what do you support...not Lasers, not Gobos.....This is a bit of false advertising going on here I think
No false advertising...
Atlabase is our 3rd party lighting database provider. When they add fixtures to the database, that makes it so they're ready when our software is as well.
So how does a customer who paid a lot of money for what is basically a $50 USB to RMX adapter know what is supported ? If the list IN rekordbox cant be trusted where is the list of what it does REALLY support ?
You're not just paying for the hardware, you're also paying to license the software.
Page 7/8 of the manual outlines the currently supported fixture types. In addition, some FX-type fixtures have been added since then.
But the software doesnt do Lighting!...not enough to do even a small DJ show. Again False advertising.
Guess I'll join the others who have posted on here and return it.
It certainly can and does.
Sorry to hear that.
