As the S9 isn't listed in the Hardware Unlock list, is this mixer considered a 3rd party device for which you are required to use one of the paid plans?
The S9 unlocks Serato DJ; the software for which it was designed! Yes, we managed to get it working for rekordbox, but as you had to purchase those functions within rekordbox 5, they remain paid functions in rekordbox 6.

I wanted to know if the djm-s9 will be compatibile with the rekordbox 6 as hardware unlock device.
I'm asking because i have to decide before buying the plan for RB6 or it's better to wait a future compatibility for unlock it with my s9

Aside from the S9 you'll need a subscription plan as well. We can only hope they plan to release an R9.
