CDJ-3000 and Rekordbox 5

My current setup is 1 x DDJ-1000 and Rekordbox 5 with a Vinyl turntable and DVS control vinyl and RB5 DVS license key

I was thinking about getting 1 x CDJ-3000 and using it in HID mode (with USB into RB laptop) alongside the controller, so I would have all 4 channels in use: one for CDJ, one for Vinyl DVS and the two built in platters

I don't use RB6 purely because I would need to pay the monthly subscription for DVS and I already have DVS capability in my RB5 license.

Are there any issues using the CDJ-3000 in this HID way with RB5, any compatibility issues vs RB6?

Should work fine, set the CDJ-3000 deck to USB A if that's your connection and run it in HID mode then activate DVS for the turntable on another deck.

I don't think rekordbox 5 support the cdj 3000 in HID mode quite sure of it ..

Sorry - I think Jay may have missed that it's the CDJ-3000 and rekordbox 5 ... no, it won't work, you need 6.

I have a similar and simpler (I think) question:
I'm running rekordbox 5. Can I play files from a USB stick analyzed in rekordbox 5 on a CDJ-3000? Or do they need to be analyzed in rekordbox 6?
