Troubles connecting CDJ-900 from 2011 to PC/MAC
I recently bought 2 CDJ-900 from 2011 and wish to set them up as controllers for either Serato, Traktor or RekordBox (Either would be fine imo). They're upgraded to latest firmware (4.34). The connection is through the USB cable.
According to procedure once connected physically I should be able to press "Link" button then use the jogwheel to select deck from i.e. Serato. However, this one says "Linked" and turning the knob does nothing at all for a selection.
Am I missing something completely obvious here?

From what I understand of at least Serato - CDJ-900 should be connected via USB port in the back, to USB on PC running windows 10, Then via the link button on the CDJ-900 should be able to choose deck. Having the CDJ-900 in HID mode (Basic or Advanced) and pressing LINK, connects it nicely to the PC. Having Serato started just disconnects the CDJ-900.
And since there are no real configuration options for .. well.. anything that looks remotely interesting in regards to using the CDJ's as controllers.. I'm a bit stumped.
Not sure what you're asking - Serato at least states the CDJ-900 as a compatible platform.
