To set the DMX address or Stand-alone Personality on your New Stinger Stand-alone Sound Active Mode 1. The unit is pre-set in sound-active mode. Verify the correct voltage setting and plug in to power. Please No Dimmers or Relay Packs. 2. Switch the unit on. 3. The unit will auto-run patterns to audio in the room. There is no duty cycle. 4. The setting for sound-active stand-alone operation is listed below: 909 DMX-512 Mode 1. Make certain the voltage select switch is in the proper position for your country’s voltage. 2. Plug the unit in to power and switch into the “On” position. 3. Press "Enter" to enter the address setting mode. The first digit in line will begin flashing. 4. Press "Select" The selected digit will be flashing 5. Press either "U" for up or "D" for down to change the value of the selected digit (from 0 through 9). 6. Press "Enter" to save the new address. 7. Connect the DMX interface cable from unit to DMX-512 console. 8. On your DMX console, move the channel 1 fader up to a value of 15 and adjust the channel 3 fader to select pattern as a quick test for communication. 9. After address has been changes, turn unit off and on again for new address to take affect. 10. You’re all set. Enjoy. DMX Controls The NEW Stinger Series offers up to 7 Channels of DMX-512 control. If you have purchased a single color laser some of these values and channels may not be used. This is controlled at the PCB level of your product therefore adjusting those faders will not damage the unit nor will it have any effect. Below is a brief overview. PATTERN 28 Base Patterns to include all your favorites like Liquid Sky, Tunnels, Fans, Beam Chases and much more. PATTERN SPEED and HOLD Find a pattern you like and then adjust the speed to your liking; you can also “Freeze” the pattern by simply pushing the channel 4 fader all the way up. Y AXIS OFFSET This feature enables you to raise or lower the position of your effect on cue. PRIMARY COLOR CONTROL Take control of the Green and Red to turn them on and off manually via DMX. (Allows users with different models of Stinger to control individual COLORS) Effects and Color Control
