When I use my XDJ-XZ with the latest version of Rekordbox on Performance mode it makes a clicking noise like those on vinyl records. Those clicking sounds also are heard on the recorded set. I use a HP Omen gaming laptop with Intel Core I-7 7th Generation, CPU @ 2.80 GHz, 8 gig Ram, 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor. I was thinking that it might be the laptop, so I tried my Dell with Inspiron 5000 series that has the same specs as the HP Omen. On the Dell, the clicks are more noticeable, even sound like a signal noise. I have examples of this noises on mp3, but there is no option to upload here. I even change the buffer size on the settings under sound and still, on both laptops, doing the same thing, Can someone help please? I about to return the XDJ-XZ and return to Traktor

I had the same problem on the DDJ-1000 with an Asus i7 laptop. The laptop is about 5 years old. Still doing well, but I decided to buy a new laptop hoping to solve the crackling problem. Bought a HP i7 10th generation, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. Then I bought an XDJ-XZ and that also has the same problem. There a several recommendations, such as updating firmware, updating windows, updating drivers, updating BIOS, updating Rekordbox, disabling turbo mode, enlarging buffers etc. I tried them all, but none of them solved the problem.
When I play from an USB stick, or play from Rekordbox export modus the sound is OK. In those cases the song is loaded completely in the XDJ-XZ before playing. When Rekordbox streams the music to the XDJ-XZ soundcard the problem occurs. LatencyMon shows that some DPC routines that belong to a driver take too long. I've updated every driver and Windows is up to date. Anyone suggestions?
The latencymon is probably a good place to start. I'd recommend you file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.
