Hello! I have a problem.
The Djm s11 a few minutes after turning on the mac, it loses the audio connection(It does not always happen, but it does happen often).
This happens almost always when I am watching YouTube or using the Djm s11 as a sound card for the Mac.
In the Mac properties it continues as "Connected" but does not play audio and I have to turn off the S11 and turn it on again so that it works as a card of Audio.
Sometimes the same thing happens to me several times throughout the hours.
I have a Macbook pro (2018) with Mojave installed.

The S11 could be disconnecting due to multiple requests for the device connection (eg. different apps trying to access the audio interface) because it's assigned as a system audio output, thus crashing the driver.
We are unable to guarantee functionality for this situation as it is not the intended use-case of this product.

Well, they should improve "the driver"....
I have never had this problem before, not with Kontrol Z2, Kontrol S8, Traktor audio 10, Rane 72 ... etc.
It is really unfortunate that a high-end mixer has these kinds of drawbacks.

It's actually driverless; it's class-compliant. So it really comes back down to how your browser handles the audio output caching.
If don't need a driver, why did I have to download and install the "Driver for Mac" from the Pioneer website? :(
I have also had a Rane 72 and did not have to install any type of driver, because the Rane is Class-compliant ...
Like I said before, I have never had this kind of problem, with any sound card / mixer ...
it would be nice if there was a way to "reactivate the driver" without having to restart the Djm S1, to waste as little time as possible, without audio!
I have this issue with the S11 as well. Made a report a while back but haven't gotten a reply to my ticket in a while.

Unplugging the USB cable solves the problem (for a short while). But it's not ideal. Even if the mixer isn't used in the "intended" way.

I totally agree with you, it does not seem like the correct solution ... this must be solved in the driver or firmware ...

When i Using the DJM-s11, as the usb card of my macbook pro (2018-6 core-16Gb) loses the audio connection many times...
I have to turn off the mixer or unplug the usb cable, so that the usb connection is restored and play the computer audio again, where more fails to play music from youtube, but it also gives me the same problem when I use it as an audio card for Ableton.
I already had this problem in Mojave, I upgraded to Big Sur and I still have the same problem ...I've had quite a few audio cards(Rane, Native instruments, Focusrite, etc) and mixers with built-in audio card and only the DJM-S11 gives me these kinds of problems ...
They should provide a solution now!

i use chroma cable from Dj techtools, amazon usb cable, belkin cable...I was very happy because it had not failed me in two days after having updated the driver 1.0.1, but this afternoon it has failed again several times!
I almost cried, its fixed on Windows. Tried it a few days. Was busy for at least 2 hours having sounds play through it, while not using RB.
Digital crate digging has become a little bit more fun again.
I do fear I might have jinxed it now.
