Hi Oliver,
Does this occur when using the XDJ as a stand-alone unit or when playing as a controller connected to your computer?
Standalone
I'm having the same issue with my XDJ-RX. It happened after I updated my firmware from 1.80 to 2.21. It's happening in standalone mode with my headphones plugged in.
To be more precise. It happens when one channel fader is down and I play a track on the other channel. when I then press the CUE from the muted channel the cracking happens. And not always when I press, jut sometimes.
But I can 100% confirm that it has to do with the firware, beacause it started happening right after I updated it.
Does it occur over any of the outputs (master / booth / recording)?
It does happen on the master channel too. If you want to replicate the problem. Play a track on deck 1 with only the lows and mids playing and with deck 2 faders' down and a track queued press the CUE button on deck 2 repeatedly. You'll hear popping and clicking noises. Please help!
Is there a way I can revert the firmware?
I agree. It happens also when i make loops.
My repair center has contact pioneer direct. They had reprcedure the problem. than they have report it to Japans ingeneers. But nothing happens! This was month ago.
If there is an "beta" solution with firmware roll back would help at the moment.
Dear Pioneers,
is there still no solution for that problem? No firmware roleback or hotfix? I now the RX2 is not in the flacship section but it is waste money for me. I need some trust to buy the new AllInOne systems.
I am having the Same probleem, it hurts me in everyting. Please a solution. 🙏
Now the cue headphone button not working correct. When i press the middel headphone cue button i only get sound from the right . When i Press also the deck 1 cue button the problem is gone. When i press the middel and right , only sound from the right headphone cup. All 3 no problem???
