There is no clock on the XDJ-XZ, so the date is added when the file is imported. You can change it once the file is in your computer.

How to set up the time for the recorded mixes.
Hello Pioneer.
How can I set up the correct time in the XDJ-XZ. It puts 2019 date on every recorded file.
Very important for me.

I cannot believe Pioneer refuse to put a clock/date chip inside their hardware, it would cost next to nothing and would be so useful for Histories, Recordings and you could even see the time on it which would be most useful when playing live, pretty please Pioneer?

It's not that they refuse to, they just haven't. It's been on the request list for a couple of hardware models now. ;)

I actually am also having the same issue. I recorded a few mixes, including a couple today, and it's saying it was recorded in Jan 2019, and mixes from a few months ago are showing up as more recent than the one I recorded today, but still in 2019. Included a photo below. There isn't a way to change the date to my knowledge, can you please help us with this issue? For being a brand as big as yours and the leader in DJ equipment, I would expect a bit better of an experience when I'm dropping 3k+ on a single product :-/
