Thinking of switching to the 3000's from my NXS2. I have noticed a few posts about some issues with them that are still to be addressed.
Would any of you that use/own 3000's comment with any issues you've had and whether they are ongoing please to help me decide if now is the right time to make the switch.
Thanks in advance

Hi there ,
I was playing for 2 years with NXS2 and thought they where great players
After many doubts to change or not i bought the new CDJ3000's and they are really great players for me. I never swap my CDJ3000's for the NXS2. It is a fact that you really need to use rekordbox to profit the maximum out of your cdj3000's. I process my mp3's also with mixed in key and everything works really great .in my opinion. I have 2 minor issues but i'm sure pioneer will provide an update for that in the near future. With NxS2 you could give a track a rating by using youre player , thats for the moment not possible anymore with the cdj3000 or i did not find how to do it now. I have also problems when i try to play a set that i recorded with my cdj3000..Most of the time i record sets from 2 or 3 hours. Without using rekordbox on the set its impossible to play it on my cdj3000's , i put the sets in rekordbox and i can play the sets now with my cdj3000 however sometimes the 3hours sets stop playing after 1.5 hours or someting
For the rest really nice players in my opinion
Have fun
Greetings from belgium
Hey Tringeling,
Congrats on the new CDJs!
Yes, the rating is something that's still unavailable on the 3000's, but we are aware of this and hope it's included in an update soon (no timeline available).
I'm not sure why your 3hr sets would not play on the CDJ-3000, I've not heard of that before. Could you email me one of the files which is causing that to occur? forums@pioneerdj.com - and put 900002406246 in the subject line.
Thanks!
