That's not a new thing -- it's been around for a while, it all has to do with how your computer detects the device and whether the drivers load up or not. You can manually "kickstart" it by opening the driver utility. Sorry!
Am on BigSur 11.2, driver 3.0 is installed following instructions with the Security fix applied.
Latest version of Rekordbox installed. Yet, when I plug in my DDJ1000 the integrated Jog LCD screen says 'No Audio Driver' and Rekordbox states 'No Audio Available' on those jog wheel displays.
Funny thing is, if I then open the Pioneer Driver Version Utility Display - HEY PRESTO it all works! If I close the utility down, it stops working!!??
Clearly something is going awry, and while I have found a way for me to use the DDJ, not ideal. Please comment and let me know what, if anything I need to fix without having to open the Pioneer Driver Utility
