i will like to know which macbook pro should i buy to connect to my XDJ-RX Controller. I want to be able to use it as serato. I am tired of searching for songs on my USB and i want to usb the rekordbox software from macbook to my controller. Advice which macbook should i buy. model and configuration. Thank you.
The XDJ-RX is not a Serato-compatible unit, sorry, but you can use the XDJ-RX to control rekordbox in two ways - as a controller for the software in performance mode, or linked to browse the content within rekordbox.

Sorry but serato is not working with xdj-rx.U can use it with rekordbox or with traktor in midi mode.
My macbook pro retina 15 configuration are this:

I bought a MacBook Pro 4GB 500Hdd OS Capitan and its the MD101 Apple product. I then downloaded the rekordbox software free trial and also downloaded the audio driver as prompted.
After all that I connected to my XDJ RX using the Ethernet cable but it didn't show any sign of connection. The Ethernet port is in good condition. What am I doing wrong. I want to use rekordbox to send songs from my MacBook to my all in one system so I stop using the USB. Kindly advice if am using a wrong MacBook or what do I need to do to connect
