Rekordbox Issue

hi,

 if i create a playlist folder in rekordbox, and just drag and drop from I tunes directly into the folder ( without adding to collection first )  will the folder 'talk' to collection, or, do i have to always add to collection first then, after add to playlist?

 

second part ( cheeky but i thought it would save making 2 posts )

 

I Tunes is playing bedlam. Rekordbox cannot find i tunes, i have the latest i tunes and latest rekordbox in mac sierra, anyone know of a fix?

1) You won't be maintaining any kind of consistency between the imported playlist and the iTunes playlist. Use the Sync Manager instead (click down at the bottom left of rekordbox), and select the iTunes playlists you want to synchronize over. Next time there are changes within iTunes you want reflected in rekordbox, run the Sync Manager again and click the big arrow to re-sync.

2) Go to iTunes > Preferences > Advanced and check the "Share iTunes Library XML with other applications" box. Click OK and close iTunes.
