Would Rekordbox DJ work with a pair CDJ 900nxs (in HID Mode) and DJM 900nxs as Mixer?
So basically:
Laptop -> CDJ 900nxs Deck 1 -> DJM 900nxs
Laptop -> CDJ 900nxs Deck 2 -> DJM 900nxs
The laptop will enable the sound output to the CDJs and then fed to the mixer, the laptop will have no direct connection to the DJM whatsoever.
I would like to avoid (or defer) getting a DVS license for such a setup if possible. Serato DJ is also an option, but i would also want try to avoid getting an SL2 or SL3 as of the moment.
Thanks in advance for the your responses, if you have a better suggestion so I can interface my Rekordbox DJ to such a hardware setup, i'd be glad to hear them.
You could do that, or you could simply connect the DJM-900NXS as the audio device ... and still not need DVS; you'd have the CDJs for HID control of rekordbox only, and no DVS license is needed for that.
