DDJ-WEGO3 - how many Volts via lightning cable?

Hi, I wonder how many volts the lightning input on the DDJ-WEGO3 can handle?

The power to run is 5v/500ma from USB, so is that what you're asking?

I am connecting a battery pack on 5V 1A. Is that OK? It runs the DDJ-WEGO3, however my iPad 3 is then not charging when connecting the controller to the iPad's 30 pin connector. Any other recommended way you can think of?

I am trying to get rid of the hum that is generated from the AC /DC POWER SUPPLY that is ordinary used to run the controller.
