Different play/connection options with rekordbox (summary and questions)

Hi,

When using rekordbox, there are different ways of playing your music on the xdj-rx. I just want to give a summary here to see if my assumptions are correct, and also to ask for some help cause I can't get one option working currently.

1. When exporting from Rekordbox to a memory stick/hard drive, you need to plug in your hardware in the USB1 or USB2 slots of the RX. In the browsing section, you then push the USB1 or USB2 button.

2. When playing with Rekordbox performance mode, you need to connect your laptop with an usb cable to the USB terminal at the back of RX. You need to push the MIDI button in the browsing section for that.

3. This is the option which is not clear for me (or can't figure out how to get it working). You can connect your laptop with Rekordbox installed (with or without performance mode) with a LAN cable to your RX using the link terminal.

In the browsing section you need to push the 'Rekordbox' button. From there you should have access to all your songs in rekordbox as they are grouped/playlistted in Rekordbox itself I Think?

 Now here is my problem: I can't see anything here.

What did I try:

- disabled firewall completely

- disabled wifi (so only connection is with the RX)

When looking in Windows I can see it's connected to an unidentified private network.

Additional questions:

- Is there any extra configuration needed?

- Does rekordbox need to be open for this to use?
