Hot Cues vs Memory Points - DDJ-RB

Am I missing something :-)

I own an XDJ-RX and play out on the standard CDJ2000 etc using rekordbox.

I have recently purchsed the DDJ-RB for the road.

I use MEMORY CUES (Little Red Arrows) rather than HOT CUES (A, B, C) as I don't like how hot cues play when you trigger then.

On the DDJ-RB how do I move between the MEMORY Cues?

There are no hardware buttons for this feature on the DDJ-RB.

Bump!  Yes, I have the same question and how do you move between them?

No hard buttons. But can you assign the fx pads to do the same thing?

Any fix here to use the memory cue in the ddj rb?

@Matias > You could re-map any button you'd like to become a memory call button, but honestly, the performance of a HOT CUE is superior to that of a memory point. You're better off using those or converting any previously created memory points to hot cues.

Thanks for the answer, yes i know the performance of hot cue is better, but i use them to make transitions or jumps in play mode in the song.

I love memory cue cause i use them as s different start cue so i can tap and usea the CUE and PLAY bottom.

Anyway how do i re-map any button to call them?

You could start at different hot cues as well -- press the corresponding hot cue pad then press the main CUE button to store it as the starting point.

To re-map, you'd have to decide which functions you're willing to lose (eg. the SAMPLER), then open the MIDI editor and remove all of the SAMPLER mappings. Once that's done, go into the PAD tab and add the corresponding MEMORY functions:

Add each of those 4, then click the LEARN button, click the function (line) you want to set, and press the pad you want to use for that function.
