Is this the first time that it's ever happened?
Knowing the track which was playing at the time might be of help to try and replicate it, but my recommendation would be to first format your USB drive(s) and re-export the songs and playlists.
Last night while i was playing my xdj rx crashed.
The sound before crashing was like the compressor effect does!
I had to to shut down my rx and take out cabel of power to shut down properly.. Because even if i pressed power, lights was ON in my rx!
I don't remember the mp3 so i can't check it.
I hope today won't have any problems!
My usb flash are 2.0.
My fw is 2.20.
I was connected to my laptop through ethernet with recordbox but no song playing through ethernet.
Any ideas? Does anybody experience that kind of crash???

Unfortunatelly I don't remember the track! And yes. This kind of crash was the first one. Next day nothing happened. Maybe i will format my usb and re export my playlists.. I hope this will fix problem
Exactly the same happened to me last night! 3 tracks into my set and with deck B playing I loaded a track to deck A and it froze on the "Loading" animation.
Deck A was totally frozen. I tried to eject the flashdrive I was playing from (USB 1) but it did not want to eject. Stayed on the "loading" screen. I waited for prob 30 seconds until my deck B reached the end of it's track...
I had no other option to shut my RX down as it did not want to eject my flashdrive and I did not want to pull it out and risk corrupting my flashfrive.
I pressed the power button but the lights also stayed on!! I pulled out the power and after what seemed longer than 5 seconds the lights went out...
I powered it all on again, inserted my flashdrive, ejected my flashdrive, power down and power back on again and it did not give that problem again. I know exacly what track I loaded so will test it out. I was also recording onto my flashdrive in USB 2 so don't know if it had anything to do with the issue.
The flashdrives I use are Kingston HyperX 128GB and I have never had this issue while playing on my CDJs. This was my first gig with my XDJ-RX and now I don't know if I can trust the RX...
Will report back to see if I can replicate the crash
I have found these threads with what seems to be the exact same issue:

Oh and I am running the newest RB as well as XDJ-RX firmware (as was avail on 8 July 2017)
@Armand > Unfortunately, Kingston Hyper X drives are horrible for their write speeds and it could be that the RX had issues trying to write to the USB drive, thus the crash. Have you experienced this kind of crash while not recording?
I will report back ASAP. I have not experienced this error while not recording. I have only played on it live once so will have to test it out a few times and also record while testing
Thanks, please let us know.
