I submitted this problem to pioneer and have not got a response yet. Maybe someone from the community can help me.
Here is a video of the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKDGxB3AFsc&feature=em-upload_owner
Explanation:
I have a very bad experience so far with my new DDJ RX. I seem to be having the same issue from this post here: https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000021743-DDJ-RX-audio-glitches-with-rekordbox . Its unfortunate that nobody replied or can comment on that post any longer.
This is a thousand dollar piece of equipment and should work better than my 200 dollar midi controller. No matter what buffer size I use, the ddj rx gets noise and glitchy after a few minutes of playing. I believe it has everything to do with the internal soundcard on here because if I switch my device to use my scarlett 18i6 I dont seem to hear the issue. Its hard to describe but the parts of the low ends of tracks are the ones that start glitching. Its a really wierd sound. If you adjust the buffer size it will then be ok for the next couple of minutes.
I would go ahead and use the scarlette as my audio device and just use the ddj as a midi controller , however I bought this unit so that I can take it away from my production environment and the ddj should work on its own. The problem with even doing it with the scarlette is that the cue mix and volume knobs on the pioneer dj are not midi knobs and I cant for the life of me figure out a way to even map it to any of the other controllers I have in rekordbox.
Has there been any move forward with fixing this issue. I saw alot of other posts with the same problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
