Hello there! I've been using Rekordbox for a week now and am very happy with it! amazing features and superB management tool.
My question is regarding importing a complete new Library.
before i started using Rekordbox i used tags in the comments to create smart playlist. example: tag / tag / tag / tag
I Noticed that rekordbox uses a similar system (/* tag / tag / tag */) But my question is: Is there a possibility for rekordbox to recognize my tags without me having the select all the tags under the mytag feature all over again? Rekordbox version 4.1.3

Can you post a screenshot and more detail of what it is you're trying to do, and where?
I wrote all the mp3 tags myself. And edited Rekordbox's tag with the same names. But none are being recognised by rekordbox.
In the printscreen you can see that the mp3 has tags written in it's comments. But none are selected in Rekordbox. I would like rekordbox to recognise the tags and put the checkmark automatically if that's even possible...

Aaahhhhh.... I get it, okay! Here's the easiest way for you to do it... it's a bit of a manual method, but will simplify the process:
1) Close that top "filter" setion.
2) Click the triangle in the search field, and click Comments:
This will constrain the search to ONLY the comments field. Search for the first "tag" you want to add (eg. "hiphop").
3) Select ALL tracks in the results (CTRL+A on Windows or COMMAND+A on Mac), then go and add that custom tag to whichever Tag section suits you best. As you can see there are already a few preconfigured sections (Genre, Components, Situation) - you can add to these if the tag you want doesn't exist, or you can completely customize them. Check the box next to that tag and it will be added.

Yes this worked! Thank you very much. Not exactly what i wanted but does the job. Additional you could do what i did which is to create smart playlists which search for that certain comment. Select the playlist and select all the songs in the playlist. Then just tick the tag you want and it will get added to the Mytag feature(even though it will write more comments again)
@Yans-Carlos > Yes, that's the longer method (which I had originally though of to start typing up as instructions), but the search-and-tag method was a bit quicker than customizing the Intelligent Playlist criteria for each comment-tag you needed to create. ;)
