RB DJ Browser bug (good bug)
I stumbled on a bug that has happened twice but hard to replicate at will.
It's a good bug and wish it could be implemented in to the GUI
What I'm getting is this.
I use DVS and always keep it in browser view. This way I'm not visually trying to match the beats or getting screen hypnosis.
In browser view you just get the small waveforms with some details and listed tracks below. Correct.
The bug i found shows the FX pane at the top - big thumbs up.
I can see what effects are loaded in which pot... I tend to forget which one is which lol
But if I need to flip back to normal 2 deck horizontal mode and back to browser it goes and never returns until it wants to.
I have an image of this if you guys want to see. I really wish this could be added as a tick preference in settings.
Has anyone else seen this?

That does help, but doesn't tell me how you're switching modes (are you pressing the spacebar, clicking the display mode drop-down, using a button on the RB)...?
Is it only the FX panel which remains open? What happens when you toggle back out of Browse mode?

To add.. I was only able to get this to happen when I opened the preferences pane and enabled or disabled DVS, then returned back to the main window.

Hey Pulse, I use the Fx panel button on the ddj rz controller. i have mapped this with the shift button to switch back and forth to browser or deck view for easy access.
yes only the fx pane stays. it obviously stays for deck view but when i switch back to browser gui it vanishes again.
i took a snap shot before i started playing my tunes just in case i did lose it and didnt see it again for weeks.
ill try your technique next time im having a jam. its a cool bug and i really like it lol.
p.s i was also re analyzing a folder i tided up....mmm
latest version installed.

wow bonus time... i found that the cfx panel also shows. shame rb has no function to control the main cfx paramater other than use on screen dial.
also just updated to the new 1.09 rz firmware and the beta 4.4.4 and all works a treat.
