Program froze tonight

Tonight while I was playing I had a problem with trying to hit the load button on a ddj-sr. As the track was playing it ran out of time and it would not load showing a thinking Circle in Windows. I have not updated the windows version I am still using the 4.3.1 I disable everything that I can to ensure that there wouldn't be some kind of problem however tonight there definitely was the laptop is a 2017 Dell dual core i7 along with 16 gig ram I had to have my MC chat it up a bit because I had to restart my computer it was a bad situation Fed Up scared is going to happen again if anybody has any idea please let me know ASAP I've just recently started running into these problems and I cannot continue to have these problems
