Why Rekordbox DJ cannot measure up to Serato DJ

with the the technology available and programmers why Rekordbox is nothing but faulty software that keeps giving user issues of all kinds.   The latest issue is that the new version of rekordbox dj while installing the update it is not replacing the old version and it goes back to the older version. I mean come on guys. I love the hardware that is use with rekordbox dj but get this software to work with no issues or significant issues for us the consumers.   The software is just faulty .  not tested enough to find bugs or you guys just dont care..   it is fustrating to find issues with the software every time .   :(

@Rony > The reason the old software is not removed is it allows you to install a second copy in parallel to ensure that the newer version doesn't have any unforeseen problems running on your computer. If you do, you simply fall back to the old version and continue working.

There are faults, but even Serato DJ has updates to fix things and improve functionality.

Are you using the Beat version maybe?  We welcome your findings in our Beta section or product feature and suggestions section.  We are always striving to make all products the best performing we can, with such a new software as Rekordbox DJ it is under 2 years old so comparing it to Serato is understandable but also unfair since Serato has been around since 2004.
